Dr. Andres Gantous, MD,FRCSC is one of Toronto’s top facial plastic surgeons and the Mission Director for Face the Future Foundation’s Rwanda Mission. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Gantous is double board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Gantous is on staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto and is an Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto. His ability to educate and guide his students, residents and fellows has earned him ‘best teacher award’ nominations year after year. Dr. Gantous is a strong believer in sharing knowledge and experience, teaching what he has learned to others, and consistently learning from his colleagues. As the Mission Director for the Rwanda Mission, Dr. Gantous teaches local surgical staff at the Rwanda Military Hospital as well as reconstructs cleft nose deformities utilizing advanced rib cartilage sculpting techniques.
