A graduate of McGill University in Anatomy and Dental Studies, Dr. Marco Caminiti served in the Canadian Armed Forces, including with the United Nations. He completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and was a Surgical Education Fellow in the Division of Surgery. He continued as the Walter Lorenz Fellow in Orthognathic Surgery in the Division of OMFS at the Toronto General Hospital and currently is Assistant Professor, Head, and Program Director of OMFS at the Toronto General Hospital, University of Toronto. He also serves as Head of OMFS at Humber River Hospital and Surgical Director of the Cleft Lip Palate Program at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Caminiti’s practice and research is focused on surgical orthodontic virtual planning for the management of patients with facial deformities and the development and assessment of surgical skills.
